1. House Key arrangements

1.1 Following the service period the sitter will securely retain clients key/s for safekeeping on return of your holiday I can post the keys through your letterbox or until the client contacts the sitter to arrange repossession of key/s

2. Responsibility

2.1 The Sitter is only responsible for the care of the cat/kitten(s). The contract does not cover the care of other animals such as Goldfish/Hamster/Rabbit/Caged Birds

3. Liability policies

3.1 The sitter follows the kitties staycation recommended CODE OF CONDUCT
3.2 The sitter agrees to provide services stated In this contract in a reliable & trustworthy manner in consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives any and all claims against the sitter, unless arising from gross negligence on the part of the sitter.
3.3 The client agrees to notify the sitter of any concerns within 24 hours of returning home
3.4 The sitter can not be held responsible for the actions of pets while the sitter is not there and also if injury or death has occurred or that they may escape from inside the home due to faulty screens, doors, and windows that may have been left open while the sitter is not there. this also includes catflaps.
3.5 The client understands that all pets ( where appropriate) must have a veterinarian and must be up to date on rabies vaccination.
3.6 Client agrees to reimburse the sitter for all cost ( including, but not limited to medical care and lost wages) associated with contracting any ailments while exposed to your cat/s
3.7 The Sitter will not sit for acutely ill animals or those with uncontrolled medical conditions. I suggest the cat/s/kittens be boarded with a vet.
3.8 The client agrees to be responsible for all costs ( including but not limited to medical care, attorney fees, etc) if the clients cat/s/kitten bites the sitter whilst at your home and the sitter feels the need to go to hospital for treatment should the injury be bad.
3.9 The sitter will not diagnose, prognose or make therapy decisions, nor do i offer veterinary services on any open wound or broken bones should your cat have an accident, i the sitter will immediately phone the vet or take your injured cat/s/kitten to an emergency vet where they will be treated for their injury.
3.10 The client authorises the sitter to obtain the services of a locksmith should a key/garage opener malfunction, client is responsible for all charges also the sitter can not be responsible for the cat/s/kitten or home if another service provider as in (another sitter or family member, friend) enters the clients property during the agreed sitter period.

4. Service Hours

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or via WhatsApp/messenger/e-mail , feeding times will be within a 3 hour window of the agreed appointment day/s/week/s/month/s

5. Emergencies

5.1 Clients agree to authorise sitter to handle any emergencies that may arise. sitter will make every effort to contact client, however, client gives sitter authority to act in the pets / homes best interest.
5.2 Sitter requires client to have a responsible party to take care of the pet(s) in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as illness and in the event of inclement weather or a natural disaster. It is best the emergency contact is a neighbour so they can reach the clients home quickest. The sitter is not responsible for pets in these circumstances.

6. Additional costs

6.1 Client agrees to pay the extra charge for mileage outside the stated zone of an 8 mile radius

7. Payments

7.1 I accept payments by PayPal and by BACS. If making a payment by BACS - please get in touch for my bank details.
7.2 For PayPal payments - due to PayPal's fees; there is a handling fee of 3% to be added on all payments made to Kitties Staycation via PayPal/Debit/Credit card. please adjust your invoice accordingly.

7.3 All bookings must be paid for 2 weeks prior to your cat sitting request, please refer to the cancelation page which will outline all clause within the agreed contract.
